[ At best someone might only get a glance of Ange when she first shows up in the lobby - soon after she's already off. She doesn't want to be emotional in front of anyone, but she also is too emotional to not show it right now, so the best solution is just to get away for a moment.
There's only so far she can run though before her emotions force her to give in, and if you're either looking for Ange or just going for a toilet break, you'll probably find Ange in a corner of a hallway, squatting on the floor with her arms around her knees, crying her eyes out.
Not wailing loudly though, okay, she's not Battler. ]
[Part of him was curious. Part of him wanted to poke fun at every person who joined him in the hotel. There were many reasons why someone like him would chase after a little white rabbit like her, but soon he catches up to her... And her tears.]
[He can't help but watch for a moment. What should he say to her?]
[ It's a mumbled response without even looking up at him, and a moment later one of her hands furiously rubs at her eyes, like she's trying to hide every trace of it. Not that it works, since her eyes are incredibly red and her voice super raspy, but it sure is an attempt.
Then she looks up, and after a few moments it clicks in her head that it was that weird guy from early on. ]
I just-- I just didn't want to come here. Especially not with this cost.
[ She frowns, although she doesn't seem mad at Ouma as much as she just seems.. well, frustrated in a more sad way. There's no real bite to it or anything. ]
Do you really think all people would prefer to live over winning their big prize? Or to live while others die?
You came to the wrong person girl. I'm an evil supreme leader of a shadowy organisation. I've seen countless lives pass before me, some of them having risked their lives for me. Do you really think I can afford to be sympathetic?
[ With how old Ouma looks - he definitely can't be older than her, that's for sure - it almost feels very chuunibyou of him to say that.. But Ange knows appearances can be deceiving. Not like it really matters whether he's making it up or not, anyway. ]
I might have been too if my mom had stuck with her family. [ She's seen Some Shit, Ouma. Yakuza style tea rooms. ] So don't lecture me. I don't feel like it right now.
[ She'll just let him leave like that for now without saying anything - mostly since Ange sure isn't done moping about just yet after all this. She's just happy to get her quiet back for a moment so she can cry without anyone watching. ]
[If he were more honest, he would probably join her, reveal himself. Yet, he knows himself to be a liar, and if he let it show too much he would betray himself.]
[ She sniffs, quickly trying to stop crying when she hears someone approach, but it's hard - her eyes still look really watery when she looks up to see who's talking to her. For a moment she's just quiet and staring, but then-- ]
.. have you been alright here? [ It's a mumbled response, and it kind of sounds like she's asking just to avoid having to answer the question she was being asked. ]
[ Her body shakes a little when the hand lands on her shoulder, but she doesn't seem to make any attempts at trying to shake it off. Sure, Ene looks super different now, but it's less of a problem when she practically has her face buried against her legs and isn't really looking anyway. And she'll at least accept this much physical contact from the other.
There's only a mumbled croaky answer-- ]
It's nothing. [ Obviously very convincing when she still can't stop crying, right. ]
[ She rubs at her eyes a bit, trying to stop the tears, but even as she looks over at the other girl her eyes are plenty red and a little watery. And her usual deadpan tone isn't anywhere to be found. ]
Did you not want to.. [ .. What exactly did happen there, anyway. Going from robot to human? ] ... um, turn into this..?
[ Clearly. It's not that Ange can't see through it at least a little bit, but.. honestly, she can't bring herself to mind it right now. She really needs the comfort right now, after all, and after a moment she's already clinging to the other girl in return. ]
Don't cry now, you'll look seriously uncool..
[ But a moment after she's mumbled that, Ange's breath hitches and she is definitely crying again despite her words - just this time against Takane. ]
[Holding Ange tight, rubbing her back. She won't address the tears out loud, content to keep playing up her own upset. And there is some honesty in that, she's so frustrated and she has no idea what to do now, but she'll figure something out. This hug is something they both need.]
[ She has no idea whether the hug is as comforting to the other as it is to her.. honestly, she feels a little selfish and childish doing this, but even Ange can only repress her emotions for so long until it all just comes out. And so she just stays like that for a few moments, clinging to Takane and crying wordlessly until the tears subside a little again.
She at least pulls back a bit instead of continuing to cling, but still doesn't move too far away. Even just having someone to talk to - as unused to it as Ange is - is a little comforting in this situation. It's still a little scary to open up, but at least this is a person she mostly trusts. ]
I.. really didn't want to come here. Especially not at Natsuhi oba-san's expense...

[But Ouma won't comment on that. Right now, he just wants to talk to her. Because he can.]
What cost? You're alive, and you got some kind of consolation prize out of it.

Did you want sound advice? From me?

[Well. She is right about appearances being deceiving. He himself takes pride in being deceiving.]
[However, this person is beginning to look rather similar to him.]
... Whatever. When you're done moping about, there's popcorn in the lobby. The people still in the game are being made to preform.
[He turns to walk away...]
