And you chose to talk to me knowingly? Are you honestly that bored?
[ There's something about her tone that makes her scrunch her eyebrows a little bit. Even if she was yelling at the air, it didn't mean that she wanted to willingly hold a conversation with someone. Especially not with Tiera, who was not only a teammate, but also the type that would never forgive her sins. After all, she's done so much harm.
So much, and she can't take it back.
But why should she? She's selfish. She admits that. Even if there's a small part of her that wishes that she could start over, that she'd remembered the promise she made to Satoshi-kun... it's all long gone now.
Lost, just like her life. Like the many lives she stole away. Not that it matters anymore.
That's when she sighs, resting her hands on the sides of her face, half annoyed, half just. Tired. Maybe she does need to get her mind off of this, to think of anything else--
And she tries to smile, a small, little broken thing that doesn't even meet her eyes. ]
Fine. How about we play the game that everyone else is playing then? As ghosts, we probably can't drink the truth serum, but I won't lie. I have no reason to.
[ Won't stop her from avoiding certain areas, however. ]
Maybe I am. [She's half-crouched on one of the tombstones, her head tilted to one side. Still, the idea of playing that game does seem like a good way to take their mind off things.] Not unless whoever is in charge of this afterlife decides to provide us with it. I'm not going to lie either. [She looks thoughtful.] What is DNA testing?
I don't know too much about it since it isn't something that I study, but it's basically some science thing that allows people to identify bodies. More specifically, dead ones. And even though we're twins and look exactly the same, our DNA is just slightly different enough for people to tell the difference through that.
...where I'm from, we usually use Aura for that. Although I guess not everyone can see it. But it sounds like any policeman from your world can use it?
I've heard of that back at home, too, but... it's just all fake. I don't think it would be the same, though. And not any policeman can do it. That's why they have people who work in that field do it.
If I knew how it works, I'd be able to explain it a bit better...
Well, it's definitely not fake where I'm from. They can use their aura vision to track down people who are hiding, and some of them can even shape their aura into attacks. Although not many come by our town, so I don't know how common they are or how common it is for them to be able to do that.
Different animals have different DNA, yes. Human DNA in general, I believe, looks very much similar to one another but there are slight differences between each person if you check closely.
Like for example... Myself and Shion. Both of us would have very similar DNA since we are both identical twins, but there would be a slight difference to tell us apart. Well, I believe fingerprinting would work too, but that isn't too important.

[ She'd counter that, but she's to tired to even come up with an argument for something this stupid. ]
I see. Do people's auras look different from one another?
